DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
At this time, in order to take all of the necessary time and provide the level of care my clients deserve, I am an out of network provider. After your visits, I can provide you with a superbill which you can submit to insurance to apply your payments toward your out of network benefits or deductible. Some insurances will reimburse some or all of your care with me, it just depends on your plan.
what does it mean to be out of network?
In a nutshell, it means I do not charge your insurance. After your appointments, I can provide you with documentation to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Unfortunately, insurance companies are well known for underpaying providers and require a billing team to be reimbursed well enough to keep their doors open. It also leads to providers needing to see more and more clients per day to be profitable. This tends to lead to long wait times for appointments, long waits in the waiting room and quick visits which don’t allow for comprehensive care. Being out of network allows me to create a different environment for my clients in which I can take the needed time with each person.
